SUMMARY:StarWatch
DESCRIPTION:Night viewing (StarWatch) is held each Saturday in the months of March\, April\, October & November\, starting at dusk at the observatories. If poor weather\, an alternate live presentation will occur in the planetarium theater. \nIf good weather\, visitors will be able to see celestial objects like the Moon\, planets\, star clusters\, galaxies and more through large telescopes! \nPlease dress for temperatures at least 20 degrees cooler than expected. We ask that visitors do not use white light flashlights to preserve your night vision. Green laser pointers are not allowed. We ask that visitors do not bring their own telescopes. \nThis is a free event and does not require registration.

(stand up paddleboard) while viewing the night sky. \nIt’s an astronomy program with a twist. Join park staff\, in the middle of the reservoir\, for a guided hike through the night sky. Learn about the constellations and viewable plants with the naked eye. \nGuests are required to bring their own canoe/kayak/s.u.p. and paddling equipment along with a Type III PFD (personal floatation device). Guests can unload water crafts near the upper portion of the dam. The cost is $10.00 per person. \nNote: If the weather is clear to partly cloudy\, the program will commence.
