SUMMARY:Run the Streets 10k & 5k - Presented by Ballad Health
DESCRIPTION:Healthy Kingsport\, a program of Your Kingsport Chamber\, will host the Run the Streets 10k & 5k road race on Saturday\, May 16\, in downtown Kingsport\, Tennessee. \n  \nThe 10k race will begin at 9 a.m. and the 5k race will begin at 10:30 a.m. Both races will begin at 400 Clinchfield Street\, Kingsport\, TN 37660. \n  \nThis road race\, previously known as the Racks by the Tracks 10k & 5k\, features the flattest course in the region\, making it ideal for seasoned runners chasing a personal best and for first-time runners alike. Both courses are USATF-certified. The 5k route’s certification number is #TN24012MS\, and the 10k route’s certification is #TN24013MS. \n  \nThe races will feature electronic B-tag timing by We Run Events\, ensuring accurate\, professional results for participants. \n  \nEarly registration is $35 for the 10k\, $30 for the 5k and $50 for the Urban Legend Challenge. Day-of registration will cost $40 for the 10k\, $35 for the 5k and $55 for the Urban Legend Challenge\, reflecting a $5 increase per race. \n  \nRace packets will be available on May 15\, from 4-6 p.m. at Your Kingsport Chamber. Packets can be picked up on the day of the event. The 10k packet pick-up will be from 7 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. The 5k packet pick-up will be from 7 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. \n  \nRun the Streets is presented by Ballad Health and sponsored by Champion Chevrolet\, Fleet Feet\, Knoxville TVA Credit Union\, Build Power Grind\, Healthy Kingsport\, Visit Kingsport and We Run Events. \n  \n“We’re proud to support events like the Run the Streets 10K & 5K that bring our community together around health\, wellness and connection\,” said Kevin Rinks\, CEO of Holston Valley Medical Center and Indian Path Community Hospital. “Healthy Kingsport’s mission to create a healthier place to live\, work\, learn and play closely aligns with our commitment at Ballad Health\, and we’re honored to help advance that vision right here in downtown Kingsport.” \n  \nAll race finishers will receive a finisher medal.
