SUMMARY:Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of the Moon
DESCRIPTION:Experience Pink Floyd’s iconic album “The Dark Side of the Moon” like never before! This program combines an incredible surround sound mix of the music with breath-taking views of the solar system and beyond. NSC Creative led the visual production efforts\, working closely with Pink Floyd’s long time creative collaborator Aubrey Powell from Hipgnosis\, to create this spectacular experience. \nEach song has a different theme; some futuristically looking forward and some a retro acknowledgment to Pink Floyd’s visual history\, all relating to a time and space experience\, embracing up to the minute technology that only a Planetarium can offer. Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon is a truly immersive experience that will transcend reality and take you beyond the realms of a 2D experience. \nThis program is being shown thanks to the generous support of the Bays Mountain Park Association. \nTicket Prices:\nNon-members – $15/person\nMembers – $10/person \nProgram Length: ~ 45 Minutes \n.avia-button-avb6aaa8cf7e4e15:hover {background-color: #444444 !important;color: #ffffff !important;transform: translateZ(0) scale(1.03); }Click here to register online for tickets

SUMMARY:“Dark Side of Light”
DESCRIPTION:Light pollution. How can something as essential as light be considered a pollutant? The answer lies not in light itself\, but instead how we use artificial light at night. \nFor centuries\, we have become accustomed to using artificial light after dark\, treating it as a natural part of our lives. But it isn’t. Living organisms – including plants\, animals\, and humans – have adapted to the natural cycle of day and night for tens of millions of years. Our biological rhythms are closely tied to the rising and setting of the Sun each day. Disrupting this natural cycle with artificial light has serious consequences for our health\, the environment\, and the economy. As artificial lighting continues to increase around the world\, understanding its impacts has never been more important. \nIn this program\, discover what light pollution is\, how it affects our world\, and the simple steps we can take to protect our night skies. This program is followed by a quick look at the constellations\, planets and other celestial wonders visible in the night sky from our region. \nShow length ~ 40 min. \n  \n.avia-button-avb6aaa8cf7e0dec:hover {background-color: #444444 !important;color: #ffffff !important;transform: translateZ(0) scale(1.03); }Click here to register online for tickets

\n  \n.avia-button-avb6aaa8cf79569d:hover {background-color: #444444 !important;color: #ffffff !important;transform: translateZ(0) scale(1.03); }Click here to register online for tickets
