Read what you want at your own pace\, whether that’s a textbook\, comic book\, fiction — whatever!\n\nMeetups will be at 6pm and consist of approximately 30 minutes of socializing followed by one hour of silent reading. Everyone brings their own book. To close\, we will have another 30 minutes of socializing (or\, if you prefer\, you can keep reading)!\n\nWe are always open to everyone\, regardless of our theme/event for the night\, participation in theme/event is not required. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a truly immersive yoga class at Bays Mountain. This class will be given inside Bays Mountain’s one of a kind planetarium theater that has no equal. From dawn to dusk\, the planetarium will feature a Sun and Moon that simulates a day’s journey while we do Sun Salutations\, Warrior series and balance poses. Concentric\, eccentric and isometric contractions will be featured so that students can work to optimize both their strength and balance. Finally\, we conclude with a twilight to starry night sky for the restorative portion of the yoga class. All levels are welcome as modifications will be offered. The cost is $12.00 a person and class size is limited\, so please sign up soon. Join a park ranger to learn about the black bear and their traits\, as well as discuss common myths that we often hear when encountering them in the wild. If poor weather\, an alternate live presentation will occur in the planetarium theater. \nIf good weather\, visitors will be able to see celestial objects like the Moon\, planets\, star clusters\, galaxies and more through large telescopes! \nPlease dress for temperatures at least 20 degrees cooler than expected. We ask that visitors do not use white light flashlights to preserve your night vision. Green laser pointers are not allowed. We ask that visitors do not bring their own telescopes. \nThis is a free event and does not require registration.
