National Ice Cream Day: Kingsport Locations for Ice Cream or Shaved Ice

Summer time is nearly here in Kingsport, and now is the perfect time to get out and enjoy the sun. However, with the sun comes heat, and with the heat comes the need for something to help you cool down. Luckily, Kingsport has plenty of local ice cream places for a nice cold treat. So, whether you are taking a break from work, taking the family for a sweet treat, or just need to chill, here are some options for a cold snack to try out right here in the Model City:

• The Golden Cone

The Golden Cone is located right in the heart of Downtown Kingsport, with ice cream made completely from scratch.  The Golden Cone includes 10 different flavors with options of toppings, floats, and sundaes. Dogs are welcome at the Golden Cone as well, for a pup cup refresher!

• Grace Meadows Farm Creamery

Originally located at Grace Meadows Farm, they now have a Downtown Kingsport location, where they offer farm-fresh ice cream perfect for a summer day. Grace Meadows Creamery is bringing a ton of flavor and variety this summer, perfect to cool you down and brighten your day!

• George Creamery

Branching out from downtown on Fort Henry Dr., George Creamery is another great Kingsport option to cool down and have a much-needed cold treat! George Creamery offers a wide variety of flavors, sure to please any customer!

• Marble Slab
