Hi everyone! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Ava Sherer, and I am very excited to be serving as the new Communications Intern with the City of Kingsport. One of the things I am looking forward to the most is the opportunity to connect with the community, in creative ways – and what better way to do that than through tasty treats, beverages, and food? Visiting local coffee and dessert shops reminded me how much Kingsport’s businesses pour into their community. Whether it’s a ginger molasses cookie from The Crumbum or apple cider from The Wired Whisk, there is something so special about the way these places bring people together for the season. So grab a friend, order your favorite treat, and savor the season – one sip or bite at a time!
