The most respected Journey tribute band, Departure, is set to return to the main stage for Twilight Alive! After rocking the night in 2025, Departure makes a much-anticipated return to Downtown Kingsport to unite all Journey fans across the Tri-Cities and beyond!
Departure has been covering Journey’s top hits for 18 years and offers a captivating nod to the 70s and 80s, with authenticity and attention to detail that honor the band’s members who made Journey such a radio success.

Twilight Alive is one of the most popular concert series in the region and features eight weeks of free live music in the downtown area. Live music, family fun, and a variety of on-site food, drink, and beer vendors make Twilight Alive one of Kingsport’s favorite summer traditions.
