Departure to take Twilight Alive on a journey, so don’t stop believin’

Departure, a Journey Tribute Band, is ready to electrify the audience with its thrilling throwbacks to all the best songs of Journey. This group will bring all the energy of the iconic rock super band to the stage.

Deemed the most respected Journey tribute band in the country, Departure delivers a nod to the 70s and 80s when Journey ruled the radio. For the last 17 years, the band has aimed to perfectly capture the style, sound and energy of the legendary group.

Twilight Alive is one of the most popular concert series in the region and features eight weeks of free live music in the downtown area, which includes Kingsport’s annual Red, White and BOOM Celebration on Saturday, July 5. Live music, family fun and a variety of on-site food, drink and beer vendors make Twilight Alive one of Kingsport’s favorite summer traditions.
