Digital Art Salon: Rendered-Between Worlds
Create Appalachia invites the public to celebrate the opening reception of Digital Art Salon: Rendered Realities – Between Worlds on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Create Appalachia’s gallery in downtown Kingsport.
This annual exhibition highlights the creativity and innovation of digital artists whose work explores the space between reality and imagination. Featuring artists working across digital illustration, photography, animation, mixed media, and other digital media, Rendered Realities – Between Worlds invites viewers to experience artwork that challenges perception, expands storytelling possibilities, and explores new ways of seeing the world around us.
The opening reception will provide an opportunity for guests to meet participating artists, learn more about their creative processes, and connect with fellow artists, art enthusiasts, and members of the community. Light refreshments will be served, and most artwork featured in the exhibition will be available for purchase, allowing visitors to take home original pieces while directly supporting talented digital artists.
The reception is free and open to the public, but guests are encouraged to RSVP via Eventbrite to help the Create Appalachia team prepare.
The reception will take place in Create Appalachia’s gallery space. Guests may enter through the Center Street doors, which will open at 5:45 PM before the event begins. Free parking is available around the building, along Center Street, and in the Shelby Street Parking Garage.
