
Trey Hensley is a GRAMMY award-winning bluegrass guitarist and vocalist, born and raised in East Tennessee. Hensley was launched into the spotlight when he made his debut on the Grand Ole Opry at the young age of 11, performing with Marty Stuart and Earl Scruggs. He was dubbed “Nashville’s hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar Magazine and was voted the 2025 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Guitar Player of the Year.

Hensley’s music is often showcased across SiriusXM on nearly 300 public radio stations across America!

Twilight Alive is one of the most popular concert series in the region and features eight weeks of free live music in the downtown area, which includes Kingsport’s annual Red, White, and BOOM Celebration on Saturday, July 4.
