Get ready for an unforgettable evening of powerful lyrics and soulful vocals as East Tennessee’s own Amythyst Kiah brings her unique folk sound to Twilight Alive!
Born in Chattanooga and currently residing in Johnson City, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter is making waves. Kiah’s deep presence paired with a guitar, banjo and pure talent deliver music that blends tradition with originality.
Her first hit song, “Black Myself,” earned a 2020 Grammy nomination for Best American Roots Song. With influences that span folk, blues, alt-rock and old-time Americana, her performances are both deeply personal and moving. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just discovering Kiah’s music, the live concert promises to wow the crowd

Twilight Alive is one of the most popular concert series in the region and features eight weeks of free live music in the downtown area, which includes Kingsport’s annual Red, White & BOOM celebration on Saturday, July 5. Live music, family fun and a variety of on-site food, drink and beer vendors make Twilight Alive one of Kingsport’s favorite summer traditions.
