Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing
With 26,000 square feet, the RCAM facility, located in downtown Kingsport, TN, provides hands-on training programs that are certified and recognized nationwide. RCAM’s high-tech industrial based classrooms are flexible enough to accommodate custom training as well as a core curriculum used to fulfill requirements for associate of applied science degrees and/or technical certificate programs in a variety of fields.
Academic Village
The Kingsport Academic Village consists of six buildings administered by Northeast State Community College. The KCHE combines the resources of East Tennessee State University, Lincoln Memorial University, and Northeast State Community College all under one roof. Students are able to earn selected baccalaureate and graduate degrees from participating colleges and universities as well as associate degrees from Northeast State.
Inventor Center
The Inventor Center is a group of makers, enthusiasts, artists, geeks, tinkerers, builders, and more. They provide networking, training, classes, and other resources to both their members and the community at large. The Inventor Center mission is to foster and support a community based on collaboration, innovation, tinkering, and, the entrepreneurial spirit.
